BRAVO*6 lately released a two figure kit depicting driver and vehicle commander of Vietnam War U.S. Gun Truck. Besides using them as gun truck crew for M35, M51 and M54 trucks , they can be used in front seats of all U.S. trucks of the period.
As always sculpted in 1/35 scale and boxart painted by Vladimir Demcehnko and cast in resin.
Kit comes well packed in company's standard light brown cardboard box labeled with a photo of painted figures. Each figure's parts are served in seperate transparent bags. Resin quality is good with no casting mistakes. Details are clean and sharp. No need for a serious cleanwork, another prime and paint figure from BRAVO*6.
Each figure comes as a body part with seperate arms and heads. Backsides of the figures are flattened for correct fit to the seats.
Figure-A is the driver on the left and Figur-B is the vehicle commander on the right.
The figures wear tropical jungle uniform of jacket with two chest and two lower bellows pockets - all with flap covers, trousers and canvas-leather combined Vibram boots. Trotters are inserted into boots. Uniform details, wrinkles and folds are well defined. Arms are cast in upfolded sleeves , driver's arms are posed to hold the steering wheels as the commander puts his right arm on his thigh and left arm with wrist watch to the seat.
Heads are sculpted with hot weather field cap and both show nice facial features.
Steering wheel and M1 Helmet with Mitchell pattern camo canvas cover and helmet strap.
This is another useful kit from BRAVO*6 sculpted in proper poses for a cabin crew, nice cast with no mistakes, ease on cleaning and assembly, seperate heads bring alternative head choices. Great figures to use on Vietnam War gun trucks.
Well done Vladi.
