The ACV-P (Amphibious Combat Vehicle – Personnel) is the U.S. Marine Corps’ next-generation amphibious combat platform, developed to gradually replace the long-serving AAV7. Designed to meet the demands of modern high-intensity amphibious assault and littoral operations, the ACV-P combines excellent maritime stability, strong land mobility, and enhanced crew protection. It is capable of conducting continuous operations from ship to shore and further inland.
The ACV-P has now been officially fielded by U.S. Marine Corps combat units and continues to take part in active deployments and realistic training exercises, making it one of the most representative modern amphibious armored vehicles in service today.
About the Model
This kit represents the only 1/35 scale plastic model of the ACV-P currently available on the market.
From initial concept to final approval, the development of this project took a full year. Throughout the process, ZIMI MODEL worked closely with an overseas military expert team, gaining access to extensive first-hand reference materials, including real-vehicle photographs, structural documentation, and technical data. Every aspect—vehicle proportions, armor layout, key assemblies, and characteristic details—was carefully verified and refined to achieve the highest possible level of accuracy at scale.
Tooling Technology and Building Experience
From the very beginning, this kit was designed with three core objectives in mind: high accuracy, high completion quality, and an excellent building experience. The model makes extensive use of advanced injection-molding techniques, including multi-directional slide molds and well-planned parts breakdown.
The result is a kit with clear structural logic and outstanding fit. Assembly efficiency is significantly improved without compromising detail. The build process is time-saving and builder-friendly, while still delivering rich surface detail, layered structures, and faithful representation of the ACV-P’s engineering features throughout the entire vehicle.
In addition, the kit includes a CNC-machined brass gun barrel as standard, offering superior precision, concentricity, and realism compared to traditional plastic parts, further enhancing the final appearance of the completed model.
The ACV-P is more than a new vehicle—it is a physical embodiment of modern amphibious warfare doctrine.
