The book examines the development, design and production of the specialist vehicles that supported the V2 programme. It documents the work of Division z.V. and the extensive range of equipment required for the transport, handling and launch of the A4 rocket. Among the subjects covered are the Meillerwagen, Vidalwagen, fuel and test trailers, gantry cranes and rail-mounted launch wagons.
The book contains more than 275 previously unpublished photographs, 84 technical drawings, original documents, production figures and 1:35 scale plans. Presented in a bilingual format with both English and German text, it is printed in landscape format as a 384-page hardcover.
