This is my latest build — a kitbash of Revell’s Leopard 1A5 and Italeri’s Leopard 1A4.
I scratch-built a number of details, mainly on the turret, including the rear APU. The build also features brass wire mesh, and the tarp on the rear deck is from Value Gear Details. The camo net at the front was created using Tamiya two-part putty.
For paint, I used a mix of acrylics from AK Interactive, Tamiya, Scale75, and Vallejo, with weathering done in oils and enamels from Abteilung and Humbrol.
The final model isn’t 100% accurate — a few details are missing, and the APU turned out slightly oversized — but I’m happy with how it captures the overall look.
