This is Peter's build of Dragon kit No. 6642, the Pz.Kpfw.III Ausf. H Early Version. He added 40cm sprockets from the Dragon Nashorn kit. Tamiya acrylic paint was used and weathered with artist’s oil.

Hi Peter, Absolutely stunning work here! This is well beyond..."how did you do that...what did you use for this...etc... You have to have an instinct and a natural ability along with vision to create what I see here. Thanks so much for taking the time to post these terrific pictures. The old saying "if you want to be successful, surround yourself with successful people" applies here as well...your build will be emulated (attempted) by many including me. I'm new to armor modeling having spent many years building structure dioramas. My first build is DML 6954...a III Ausf. J Build is primed and ready for the first coat of paint on its way to a DAK configuration. Your build is the ultimate of how I would envision a North Africa vehicle. I now have a picture of your build hanging at my bench!...We'll see how it goes! Lol. Thanks again for the pleasure of viewing this beast of a build...Ken
