African T-55AM

  • move
Luc started this project with an idea…to build an T-55 from African local war. He started it with the Takom T-55 AM kit, removed many parts from it (as seen on many pics) to heavily wear it. Other than that, the kit is mostly built out of box. The figures are from various brands, with the crew members from Bravo with heavy modifications and the civilian comes from Stalingrad. All of these are painted with acrylic.

I like it. Not overdone.

Beautiful work! I was, at first, thinking that it wasn't scruffy enough and then I saw the skull and said, okaayyyy. Love the weathering and the figurines are great.

Top notch results, vehicle & figures both!! The grubby appearance suggests a vehicle that likely gets just enough maintenance to keep it running/shooting. And yeah, that skull just looks ominous. Much more so than the Totenkopf insignia, which was mainly a painted-on emblem or a uniform patch.

Great job, Luc. Simple and effective scene that immediately tells a story. Thanks for sharing

Well done Luc, a great scene. I like the stowage on the tank. Mario
