M1a2 SEP v2 with CROWS LP

This is my recently finished Abrams. The base kit is Dragon's 3536. I used various AM parts from BLAST MODELS, DEF, PANZER ART etc and scrachbuilt some details myself. I painted it with Vallejo acrylics and weathered it with Tamiya enamels and AMMO pigments.

Beautiful craftsmanship on the build and paint. The weathering is consistent with what an in-law, who was a company commander for several combat tours, told me how his unit’s vehicles were regularly maintained, after I showed him examples of some of the currently popular methods of weathering, which he thought were not a realistic representation of how expensive hardware would be taken care of, even during combat situations.
