Valentine in Libya

  • move
This is Dan's Tamiya Valentine in the Libyan desert, 1941. The kit has its challenges, despite being from Tamiya. The road wheels don't sit flat and as such Dan had to add a bit of sand and gravel around the tracks. He used Tamiya metal to dry brush the wear effects of the sand in the desert. The base was kept simple and the kit was built OTB.

Really nice work with the build, paint and weathering. She looks like she is wearing the desert. Mark

Thanks for the comments. Life in a tank in the Libyan desert must have bee very tough. Apart from the road wheels, this kit was a fun build.
