T-14 and K-17 Build

This was the first time I attempted to use copying/typing paper for the flags. On my Academy M1A2 SEP V2 build, I used all ready printed flags from Duplicata Productions. The red flag was just paper cut to size, then the flag was soaked in diluted white glue, then formed and let to dry. The T-14's flags and banners where decals. I went ahead and applied the decals on paper just like placing them on the model, let dry, then cut them. Again, I soaked the flags and banners in diluted white glue, let dry, formed, and placed them on the poll.

Conclusion
Everyone has mixrd feelings about Panda Hobby kits, some like them and most hate them. Inaccuracies, bad fit, and bad instructions are amongst the many issues of their kits. The Bumerang had its issues, but proved to be a decent build. As for the T-14, the turret was the main problem in the kit, followed by very fragile and delicate parts. Modelers with a few kits under their belt should be able to tackle these two kits. As for the experienced modeler, it just depends on if you want to spend the time messing with and fixing issues with kit. Over all, I really like how the two kits came out at the end. They both look really beefy and sci-fi.

Thanks goes to Darren and Jim for allowing me to do another build review/feature for you guys.

Two very nice builds. Well done. I pretty much agree with your overall opinions about these two kits. The T14 is something of a curators egg, good in some parts, bad in others. Fit is generally very good along with some fine and accurate surface detail. The biggest error appears to be that the hull is about 5mm too long, It also lacks a number of upper hull details which do detract from the overall accuracy. Instructions are also frustrating and vague at times. Oddly enough, the Boomerang is a rather good kit, great fit, fine detail and seemingly pretty accurate. It does not even feel like a regular Panda kit, but something from the leading opposition. One I would recommend to anyone interested in the subject.

Nicely done and a wake-up call to the West's military, I'm sure! The Armata looks pretty fierce & effective and I'd hate to go up against it in anything that's becoming long-of-tooth...cool model too!
