introduction
9th Plasticbattle Armor Modeling Show, organized by Plasticbattle - Turkish Modelers Forum and sponsored by manufacturer and supplier of tracked and wheeled armored combat vehicles and weapon systems for the Turkish and Allied Armed Forces - FNSS Defense Systems, was held in FNSS facilities - Golbasi-Ankara,Turkey on 3-4th September 2016.
  • This year’s honor guest was Gergo Szaszko of Moson Model Show. He served as a judge and shared his knowledge and experience with us to improve this show.
  • FNSS was a great host again with high quality service and hospitality. Besides professional technical support, unlimited drink services, receptions and small gifts for modelers, the company organized a cookout party with barbeques and recreation areas for the company staff, families, modelers and visitors . Special thanks to Cem Altınışık and Serhan Ateş for making every moment of the show comfortable and joyful.
  • WOT - World of Tanks set up a stand and gave promotional gifts like t-shirts, caps, game bonus codes and more to modelers. They introduced the game and modelers played it online.
  • Abrams Squad supplied free sample of his magazines/books and they were gifted to modelers after Özgür Güner's workshop. Thanks to Pere Pla for his generousity and support.
  • Newborn figure company FigurinIstanbul advertised and sold their busts.
  • Reenactors in WW II German army uniforms colored the show again.
  • As in former shows, FNSS performed a field demo of their ACV-19 Akinci- Armored Combat Vehicle and Pars 8x8 Wheeled Armored Vehicle. At the end of demo, visitors were invited to get into the vehicles and take close-up photos of all vehicles on product line. There were an M-48 Patton and two Willys Jeeps on display too.
