Defences at the Rear

Romix shares another of his works with us depicting a concrete pillbox. This offering depicts a relaxed scene with the German troops sitting around and looking bored with the war. This diorama contains one of my favourite elements again, water.

ace! I'd rather be the guy mounting the mg 42 on the "inside" of the bunker...not on top. Arty would surely get ya.

0Really like the look of the bunker and how it's integrated into the groundwork.

Lovely! It reminds me of that Verlinden diorama from decades ago, with the Tobruk bunker. That diorama inspired me to take up modeling when I was just a kid. I think that if I saw this diorama then it would have inspired me just as much!

Wow… a real jump in the past with this verlinden reference that made me dream hours and hours with the Verlinden Way books. Great job. I love it !

Extraordinary models! The scenery is superb. The figures and Kettenkrad are, too. It appears that you put a lot of effort into painting an aggregate effect on the concrete of the pillbox.
