Kostas Katseas shares with us, yet another fine watery rendition straight from his bench! This time a conversion of Trumpeter Models' USS Hornet into the USS Enterprise as she would be seen in 1944.

Model Shipwrights would like to thank Kostas Katseas for providing this photo feature of his 1/350 scale USS Enterprise!

Wonderful work. the water around the ship and the bow spray are unbelievably realistic, and the fire crew at work on deck and the water running off is a really imaginative and well rendered scene all by itself.

Fantastic work well done, I am curious what material did you use for the water splashes?

0Kostas, amazing work. I too am interested in knowing what you used for the water splashes. You never cease to amaze.

Best one yet!!! Wow it looks like a picture of the actual event. Isn't that a post WWII US flag flying from the island instead of a 48 star?

Terrific all around!

crikey your're right, it is a 50 star flag [edit to add: for the record, Alaska and Hawaii were admitted as states and the flag changed in 1959.]
