Sherman II Direct Vision

  • move
Gary Boxall has sent Armorama some pictures of his Sherman II Direct Vision type build. The model was built with the addition of ET and Voyager photo etched parts and Bronco individual tracks. The model was then given a base coat of Lifecolor Light Stone with oils and AK/Mig products for weathering.

Nifty paint job. Very realistic. How did you do the .50 cal ammunition?

Thanks again guys. Bill - with a powerful optivisor The rounds are pretty small obviously, but the links are the fun part. They are not the easiest of things to assemble, but well worth the effort. I used a minute dab of CA glue to keep the rounds in place and a touch of copper paint to represent the head of each round with black paint for the links. Gary

Was it a kit? I see a lot of PE sets around, but the bullets are flat.
