Schmalturm turret

This Schmalturm turret on display at Bovington Tank Museum is badly damaged but will still be good for ref use, one plus point of this is that it also allows you to see the various thicknesses of armour plate used in its construction. This turret is also useful to see the effect of artillery fire on armour as it was rescued from Larkhill artillery ranges on Salisbury plain, which is of course how it ended up in the condition it is in.
