Vinnie, very nice build. I'm finishing this kit now and have found it to be one of the nicest kits I've ever worked on. You did a great job on the figures as well.

Excellent work, and an article on how you weathered the dunkelgelb . and/or on the figure painting would be much appreciated. The word that keeps springing to mind, over and over as I look at the pictures, is... Outstanding!

Wow super work How you guys can get the used and weathered look look so perfect is beyond me. One question, the left front and right rear road wheels don't seem to be riding flat. Are you planning for ground work? Again super job! cheers

Guhhh!! I reckon the Panther looks imposing in that monotone Dunkelgelb. *drools into cup of tea* As for the figures...outstanding!

Exquisit build and finish! Still dying for you to share with me how you go about painting a completly assembled tank (in particular the wheels/tracks). I think you promised us that a while back. Just curious: no markings?

you'll have to go to another site for that, I guess.

Yep, Vinnie is no longer with us here in Armorama. Go to LINK (sorry for the free add but just trying to help) and maybe you can ask there. Rob

Whilst building the Panther-F, I got some hints from DSOTM, who got some hints from Vinnie. What he told me was that he basecoated the ENTIRE kit, completely build tracks and OVM in Tamiya Nato-black. Then he masked the tracks and painted the camo on the tank. Any overspray on the rubber rims was touched up. You might ask DSOTM if he can give any further hints.
