Sculpting a Simple Woodlands Scene

Introduction

When I approached the Historicus Forma community about what sort of step-by-step sculpting features they would like to read, the overwhelming consensus was that we should start with something simple. So I thought, "What is more simple that sculpting a rock or a tree stump?"

However, as I thought more about it, the idea manifested itself into combining both the rock and tree into a small, easy to create scene that would suit a multitude of periods and themes, while at the same time giving readers some basic sculpting experience. Hence: "Sculpting a Simple Woodlands Scene".
