Campaign Manager (Armorama)

Summary: The Campaign Manager oversees the campaign (group build) area of the site.

Job Responsibilities:

The Campaign Manager is responsible for all issues concerning the organization and promotion of group builds.

The Campaign Manager approves or denies submitted campaigns by members, helps with support issues for ongoing or completed campaigns, and edits campaigns as needed to carry out the above.

The Campaign Manager will reply to all email questions or forum posts regarding campaigns in a prompt and professional manner.

The Campaign Manager will work to enact any directives made by the publisher, enforce site policy and promote the general welfare of the greater KitMaker community of modelers.

Job does not entail:

Publication of news, reviews or features on the site.

Skill Requirements:

They need to demonstrate good judgment and a strong sense of ethics in deciding how to manage the campaigns area.

Basic Internet experience, image processing (Photoshop?) and basic HTML would be helpful.

Conduct oneself professionally in all environments, including industry events.

Reports to: Publisher (Jim Starkweather)

Compensation: This is a volunteer position.

Associate Editors (AeroScale)

Summary: Associate Editors work with adding content additions to the site (reviews, features, contests).

Job Responsibilities:

The AE will have access to staff email account to receive and coordinate content additions to the site.

The AE will oversee the addition of reviews and features to the site and coordinate their publication with the Managing Editor.

The AE will work to enact any directives made by the managing editor or publisher, enforce site policy and promote the general welfare of the greater KitMaker community of modelers.

Job does not entail:

Managing/moderating forum or news content. However hosting several areas of the forum is perfectly acceptable.

Skill Requirements:

Associate Editors should be capable modelers with at least 2 years experience concurrent experience building the types of scale models their site covers.

Associate Editors must be able to express ideas clearly and logically and should like to write. Creativity, curiosity, a broad range of knowledge, self-motivation and perseverance also are valuable.

Attention to detail.

They need to demonstrate good judgment and a strong sense of ethics in deciding what to publish.

Basic Internet experience, image processing (Photoshop?) and basic HTML would be helpful.

Conduct oneself professionally in all environments, including industry events.

Reports to: Managing Editor, Rowan Baylis

Compensation: This is a volunteer position. Samples provided are yours to keep as long as our obligations to sample provider are met (review, feature, etc).
