I just bought the Trumpeter Ticonderoga flattop. Now I am wondering what PE set to use with it. I understand that I have to use some Essex class general set but if someone has experience with this particular kit and PE it would be nice to hear some opinions and tips.

Here is a good, general, Essex Class set, made by Gold Medal Models, here in the US, right Here!

You might want to check out other outlets closer to your home port though, but this is a good start! Good luck with your flattop, mate!
