The Ludendorff bridge near Remagen is possibly best know for the 1976 movie ''Bridge at Remagen''. In the best Holywood tradition of 70''s film making historical accuracy took a back seat (the bridge is actually closer to the small village of Erpel), but this latest volume in Osprey''s ''Campaign'' series, written by Steven J Zaloga, gives an accurate account of the battle for the Bridge at Remagen.

Hi Henk,
Thanks for the review. This sort of condensed history can IMO be a very useful source for modellers.
You don't need the entire history, just the focus on a particular battle and provided the information is correct you have some good reference materials/pictures for your project.
My thoughts anyway, nice clear review.
Cheers
