Interesting subject for sure. Glad to hear it seems to be a nice kit. They have released lots of really unique wheeled vehicles lately, so this info is most welcomed!

I was surprised to hear of no P/E included. How do the parts in the kit compare to the usual P/E parts, like headlight guards etc?

Thanks!

I too was puzzled about the missing of the PE in the kit but then again when I studied the parts usually to be changed with PE I found out that they have done some truely impressive things with the master and they have managed to create some really thin resin pieces. The Headlight guards are very delicately one piece molded features. Same goes for the handles at the back of the cargobed, Windscreen wipers.

I'm actually still waiting for a copy of the Technical Manual of the 970 to come in so I can investigate if I can add some more information to the whole.

But to be short they did absolutely a good job in making very good resin replacements for PE items

With friendly greetz

Robert: The tech manual for the Diamond T truck is available here at a reasonable price:

Item T010. Any idea how this compares with the Accurate Armour kit?
