I'm wondering what everybody's opinion is on which kit is the most accurate and detailed Panther Ausf A late: the Takom 2100 or the Meng TS-035? I don't mind that one kit comes with moulded-on Zimmerit as I can apply Zimmerit to the un-Zimmeritted one myself and the interior is of no importance to me.

If anyone has any experience with both kits, please can you let mr know which one is the better kit in terms of detail and accuracy?

Thanks so much!

If you don’t need the innards, you might also consider the Das Werk As, which are Takom plastic. The tracks aren’t great but they aren’t terrible either.

David Coyne has done builds of Takom and Meng on Track Link, which are worth reading.

Meng goofed on the finer details on the road wheels, though you'd have to look very close to see a difference. Hubcap shape and the placement of the rim bolts were the issues cited in online reviews.

Actually, the Dragon kits get high marks for matching the Hilary Louis Doyle drawings in Panzer Tracts.
