It was my mistake the Drivers Hatch didn't fit, there's a small filler part that goes in the hinge area you have to get this in right or the hatch doesn't fit.

Here we have the backs of the Engine Hatches You could leave them off as they don't do anything and can't be seen, that is unless you have an engine and its compartment.

I think I'll give this a coat of paint then start on the Turret.
Finished for now.

I have the main Gun assembled.
The instructions aren't really clear where and how some of the parts are installed.

Note the tiny pad and notch, this is where the Co-axle
Mg, goes.

The completed gun.

That's all for now.

I have some more assembled
The Loaders Hatch.

This looked wrong to me but after checking the Son of Sherman Book there's a Pic. in there showing this Periscope.

The instructions show the Commanders Hatch assembled this way (of course we all know this is wrong)

We all know it really goes this way, You can position it at what ever angle you like but it has to be glued in place.

A little weathering to the top of the Tracks.

Just snap in the front.

The next Pic. shows that there's not much space to fit the track with the upper hull in place,

Just glue it together any where you can.

Finished for now.

The Tow Cable is from the spare parts box, the one in the kit is way too heavy. You will need to enlarge the opening in the end parts to fit what ever Cable you use.
I used a total length of 169mm you could make it longer if you wish, but to get it to fit from the rear point to the front clip you need at least 169mm.

The Commanders Cupola

I painted the clear parts with a mix of Tamiya clear blue & clear green.

There's a nice ammo box for the turret top Mg.

This was a really long build.
The only thing that I really didn't like about the kit is the Track, I've had less trouble with the Bronco Tracks.
I'd like to hear any of your thoughts on this build, any thing you think i could have done differently?

Regards.
Donald
