Does this guy's stuff look like pirate copies? There is a lot of familiar-looking stuff, but MUCH cheaper than elsewhere, also he never mentions the manufacturer/original caster's name. I got one of his figures (a ZLPLA look-alike figure) and it came wrapped in bubble-wrap, and in a small zip-lock baggie - no box:

His "Resin German Female Maintenance Force Member Group Unpainted Unbuild BL532" set definitely looks like Aurora white metal figures :

Like I said, a lot of stuff looks familiar: Bravo 6; Live Resin; ZLPLA; and many, many others! Even some Preiser!

Definitely pirates. The price and lack of mention of original producer would be strong hints. They are not only "similar" but exactly recasts. I've seen they even recasted some of Dragon's kit parts!

I spotted some Paracel figures that we're sale well below thier usual price It suggests recasting or perhaps copying by other means.

Couldn't hurt to send eBay a note about this.

I think most here would agree that pirating is very very bad. Bad for the legitimate sculptors' business and bad for modelers in general.
For some that my be unaware of why it is bad for the modeler here's why.
If you like buying excellent resin or metal figures to paint and use in scenes, dios, etc then saving a few bucks by buying a knock-off will be good for you in the short run,but it will kill any chance of new products in the future. What sculptor will continue to work for free? Seriously.
So if you are OK with the lack of morality and think buying cheaper copies is OK,then at least consider the consequences for yourself in the future.
No more cool stuff will be released!

I dunno this, the Chinese are notorious for theft of intellectual property. Plus, there are those that say this is bad business and there are those that say this good. I'm not gonna open Pandora's box in this respect. I dunno there are modelers who cast parts and accessories for our own future personal use.
Cheers

Not necessarily on topic, but I'm a Chicagoland boy and when I hear about pirates, this song comes to mind:

At long last their license was revoked.

IIRC they only care if the original maker of the product reports the piracy.

Everything on that ebay account is a copy from another manufacture. I see items from Royal models, Black dog, Live resin, Valkyrie miniature and some old Verlinden. They were even blatant enough to use the original picture from all the original manufacturers website. There is no effort to hide all this is pirated copy’s.
