Calling this one done for the campaign - just in time. Still 01/08/2020 by the forum clock!!!

3 pics in the Gallery, but server has dropped, same issue as Jan, so I can only link the last picture I uploaded. I'll try and link in others again later.

Hey Ron, when you put an end date in a campaign, e.g. 01/08/2020 (or 08/01/2020 in the U.S.) the clock stops midnight on the date you posted, so there are still a few hours left for stragglers! Usually you also give a few hours grace for those in different time zones where it is still 01/08 after midnight hits the forum clock.

Server up again

Don't worry.
I think Richard's having issues too, his Chapparal has not come in yet either.

Thanks. I hope you didn't think I was being pushy - I just re read my post and thought it might actually read that way, and that is not what I intended. It was supposed to be friendly advice

The Gallery has been a real issue over the past 6 months or so. There are guys that finished the 20/20 build but haven't uploaded pics to that either. Hopefully it will all sort out in the wash.

No sweat. I don't know about everyone else; but I've found that I had to add my pics one at a time rather than a bulk upload. Not sure if that's a problem with the gallery or with the hosting provider.

My Wiesel AFF for the 20/20 build had to be done that way as was the pics of my Chaparral.

I have been doing mine one at a time for ages. It was another issue I think. Every time I tried upload just one pic it would time out, get a server busy error or just just crash the page.

Keep at it Rob. You can always join the Unfinished Business campaign to keep the motivation going.

Great Campaign idea Ron. Thanks for being such a great host. I really enjoyed watching all these builds come together, especially the ones where the guys added their own details.

Looking forward to being in another group build with all you guys.

My entry,.. I made this old Italeri Sherman 37 years ago also and i always kept the tank as practice model and now needed even to us that one as spare donor,..

I like buying nowadays models that i made so many years ago, brings back memory's. And if it's a boring box i tend to discard it an keep the sprue's in poly bags with i then store in moving boxes, but when i got the model started i notice some spurs where missing some key items,.. damn,. checked everything but the polly bag and in the moving box nothing was to be found,..

But work continued in the mean time
Some texture on certain places

The donor and the current built

Primer on

Some green with some washes of oil

Working on the base, i used for the tree's wood chipping

In the mean time those spaghetti tracks broke due to the tension i suppose,..not one but 3 time's,..Bummer but wit a bit of copper wire the problem was solved

And the final result

Thanks for this tribute, Sheperd Paine was a great inspirator

I sent a message to the powers that be a little while ago letting them know.

We'll see what happens!

Hello Jesse, I did not see any pictures of you in the gallery and you are not enlisted, that's why.

Yes, I remember your build now. But seriously, you're not enlisted. As such I can not mark you for receiving the award.

It took some back and fro, but everything should be OK now.

Thanks again all who participated and especially those who made it!!
