Very nicely done. I see you replaced the stowage bin latches. Did you take them off of a K1A1 kit?

Thanks a lot. I just cut the latches carefully, thinned them about half a milimeter with a sharp blade, and glued them back.

Hi Cagkan, this is a great model of a great tank.
You did a nice paintjob and nice base, too.
I really like the K2, it very modern looking and it is also related to the Turkish ALTAY, it shares several parts with
ALTAY (of which already some prototypes are running).

Yes it is related to Altay, they have almost identical hull but Altay has 7 roadwheels and about a meter longer. Turrets are completely different.

Hi Olivier, it is very nice to hear that my model will be an inspiration for a master modeler like you, I'm honored.
I used Gunze H303 and H310 for the two main camouflage colors. Vallejo Model Air's Black Grey and Model Color's Off-White for the black and white stripes. I used 4 or 5 different green colors for the skirt armor blocks.

I used a foamboard and 4 mm cork sheet for the base, then I applied AK Interactive's asphalt product. Barriers are from the Meng's Set. Vegatations are from Green Stuff World and some of them are homemade, also I used cat litter and small rocks.
All the dust and weathering are both AK's and Ammo of Mig's enamels/pigments..
