Hi everyone
I wanted to do something a bit different with this kit so i am going to make it as though it has just left the factory floor has had its test drive and checks ect the hardest part will be to make it visually interesting but keep it almost clean.
I also have extras for it and that is the Eduard PE handles and holders , Panzer art Resin Copula , And the Tamiya extras ( Seperate track links , Metal Barrel & Grill set.

Back soon with more pics Cheers Lee

Ok i decided to spend time adding all the missing weld seams using thin strips of evergreen styrene cut to the right size of a weld seam then glued to the model and softened up with Tamiya extra thin then pressing into the styrene strips to make a weld.

Thanks Lee

Very interesting project, people often forget that the Panther at Kurst were sent directly from the factory so they had no time to rust or fade the paint.

As you say, the hard part is to make it new but real. Good luck!

Looking good. I like your welds. They look more substantial than melted sprue welds.

Good tip!

After a few hours of work the tracks are built
After that the metal barrel and gun breach was built and painted with Mig's Cremeweiss i also made a muzzle brake cover using Tamiya epoxy putty and finally fitted the resin Copula.

Back soon Cheers
