Gaz: congrats on finishing and nice work. Maybe a light wash would highlight the zim more by artificially introducing a shadow? To me, the historical photos that show it more seem to be overexposed, bleaching out the rest of the tank to pick up the slight shadow of the zim. Start with light layers if you choose to pursue this, as I think it could go overboard quickly. Anyway, the Brummbar looks awesome.

Hello guys,
A little progress with my little light tank... Bronco did a bit too good job regarding details (and number of parts) but one thing is absolutely winner: their cut-clean-click type workable track. Far easier and faster than any workable tracks met so far.
I hope this time I will not miss the deadline

Looking very nice so far. I have the British version of this kit and am interested to see how the rest of the build goes for you.
Gaz, you need to expand your horizons from of your shake'n'bake builds... how else are you going to have a collection of shelf queens like the rest of us?

There was nothing shake and bake about the Brummbär, I can assure you. I would have done figures had I not had such troubles with the paint job. Someday I'll buy a Bronco kit... But I'm in no rush!

Yes, for sure I have
- that was just a test fit to check the alignment of the wheels. Unfortunately that is a weak spot of the kit. Bronco did a nice job when trying to make the suspension with workable torsion bars but the attachment point of the wheels to the axles is very small and it was hard (at least for me) to make them align nicely. But so far I am impressed with this kit. The fit is top notch, no gaps to fill, just like a Tamiya.

Hi Gaz,
I decided to do a metal barrel with the Wespe because of how large the ports are on the muzzle break. I was not sure how I was going to get inside the muzzle break to sand the inside seam. I must say this RB barrel does have a lot of detail to it that the kit barrel lacked.

Looking good Bryan. The barrel is such a stand out component on the kit that you made a great choice in going with the RB one.

Everyone,
Update in my entry; Tamiya's Elefant kit# 35325.
I plan on finishing this in a diorama off a picture I seen on the internet (which I sure a lot of you have seen).
I used some P.E. on it along with Masterclub metal tracks and Tamiya's own Zimmert coating made for this model.
Will post more photos after painting and weathering.
