Panda?

No thank you... Perhaps Trumpeter or AFV Club will release one.

Wow, now that is amazing. Very cool to see kits of new vehicles out so soon, not waiting years for them to arrive! I may just buy one for the heck of it. More info and on the kit and vehicle here, http://www.themodellingnews.com/2018/06/preview-135th-scale-m1296-stryker.html#more. Apparently there are only going to be 81 vehicles converted / made in this configuration.

Hopefully AFV, but they can take forever to release kits. Trumpeter would be my second choice,as their base kit isn't as nice as AFV Clubs

Well may not be the best Stryker but could lend itself to a good kit bash start

Panda is not so bad....now. I have done there M-ATV and that was a nightmare, their Cougar was better and their recent TOR was a lovely build even with that complex radar dish. I will definitely be getting this one.

What is the relationship between Panda & Kitty Hawk?

Kittyhawk does the aircraft while Panda does the armor. Kittyhawk's Facebook page announces kits for both, but I am not 100% the specifics of how they are set up, but the people are the same

New stryker models serie ?

My understanding is this one is a reworked original Stryker with the flat bottoms, not the new Strykers with the V hull.

Are the Dragoons V hull or the original flat ones?

Interesting article on "The Modeling News."

For one, I didn't know that the US Army opted out of the M240 coaxial gun for the 30mm RWS. Personally, I think that's a mistake to not include COAX as that is considered "standard" for all turreted vehicles these days for dual use against IFVs and infantry. So now the 30mm RWS "Dragoon" is only good against IFVs and not infantry? And to not have the Commander's Independent Sight might prove unwise. (I suppose the US Army can add COAX pretty easily).

And the photos of the open top really do show the low Level 1 armor. It's not the front armor which is thick, but the top and sides. You can see how thin the top and armor is, but Level 1 is 7.62mm ball protection.

I thinks it's far better to use AFV Club stryker as base. From what i saw Panda Models give some accurately sized US vehicles, and the Trumpeter Stryker isn't accurate as AFV one.
So i suspects that using AFV hull will be a better way.

On the other hand, the later Panda kits, like the Bumerang i have in stock, are nice. Certainly not Tamiya/Meng/Trumpeter/Takom/AFV buildability but not the M-ATAV nightmare...
