Joseph Brocchini shares with us some images of his Churchill Mk.III during the ill-fated Dieppe landing in 1942.

I think both of the opposing soldiers may be placed in front of the diorama, they will be better exposed and more 'stories' can be told. Very lookin' good Churchill and nice diorama base. More wip pictures will be more fun.

Cheers,

Garry

I really like the finish on the Churchill though the height of the ruins behind it makes me nervous; both in the way it looks (Why hasn't it fallen over yet?" to simply breaking it off as you move or dust the dio. I agree that the soldiers should be posed more visibly up front. Well done otherwise!

Yes, very nice finish on the Churchill.

Perhaps the position of the figures is so that there is an uninterrupted view of the tank from one side?

On the building, I suppose it is only part of the ruin that's included in the diorama, we can imagine some more of it outside the space. Were any of Dieppe's buildings destroyed in the raid though? I believe very few of the tanks made it anywhere near the town.

Giuseppe,

I enjoy your work.

Your Churchill finish is amazing. How did you create the effect?
