... The saddest thing in this news for me is the presence of two Xact T-80U in the stash, one of which I started doing almost 4 years ago, then I abandoned it to collect dust on the shelf, and only Trumpeter's announcements forced me to return to his build ing urgently so that he did not turn into garbage at the moment when this T-80U comes out Now I'm done the turret and return to hull (the hull I started assembling 4 years ago)... https://www.flickr.com/photos/realhokum/39451681174/in/album-72157669371957679/lightbox/ But there remains the second T-80U from Xact with the conversion to UM-1 "Bars" ... Its me even did not start, and Trumpeter already showed a test assembly of his "Bars"...

Build them as comparison builds. Compare them with each other.
There are many kits, mostly resin but also some in styrene, which have been replaced by better kits. Maybe there could be a campaign build where the old and the new shall be built in parallell?

Hi;

If you watch the Russian RAE Events, they refer to Mk;2 as being the BMPT-72 and the First Terminator as the Mk;1 !!
When First Shown the BMPT-72 was given Top Priority and shown at great length on large screen monitors; The name RAMKA has ben given to both Terminators, and the cross bred version was an easy conversion, and offered better features in an Urban Battle !!

CHEERS; MIKE.

The name with “MK1 or MK2” only exists in British calling. If you can show any reference or photograph with official calling Mk to justify the name of this.

As stated previously, this is somewhat "old" news, as Turmpy stated that they would release this in December, but it was then part #09527 (google it for pic) and a "UM" version is out there listed as part #09526..........so still waiting............

Squadron.com currently lists the Trumpeter T-80UD MBT kit, #09527 as being available for ordering (at US$ 73.99) and shipping now.

I have also seen it appear on eBay in the past week.

The RFD kit remains a mystery to me as to when it will actually appear somewhere for sale in the USA. I do, however, like the looks of the kit as seen in available pics and think that I might get one... Of course it may be too costly for my old wallet (the Trumpy T-80UD kit at $73.99 plus shipping certainly is... ) - we shall see.

Sent an e-mail to RPG MODEL last night and to my amazement they replied today.
They wrote:
Hello there
Thanks for your interest RPG-MODEL
We plan to launch this product in late April. The time-to-market for Japan, South Korea and Europe and the United States will be subject to the arrangement of the local distributor.
You can ask your local dealer the exact time.

So hopefully before June
