Julian, I want to thank you for saying Dragon was having a sale special of $39 dollars a kit. I picked up 2 kits. I paid about $80 for $140 worth of kits. I am struggling to justify the cost of kits today. When kits start running $130 each with aftermarket parts I have to rethink the hobby. I can afford it but I'm revaluating why I am building models. I like the building if it is not too fustrating. I need to come to terms with how important ultimate accuracy is worth to me. Will I get as much enjoyment from a Monogram 1/32nd scale panzer 4 as the Tiger Model T90ms? The answer is probably if I feel I did a good job. I also need to evaluate how many of those $130 kits I have waiting in the stash. Am I becomming the guy that has 7 drills, 9 circular saws, 5 jig saws, etc... I think so. So is my hobbie becomming more about collecting, worring that kit might not be produced anymore? Again I'm thinking so. Maybe my post new years resolution should be to to take a deep breath and just let it go. Stop buying and build what I have. Work to ignore the fear of discontinued kits realizing there will be better kits released in the future.

Glad to be of help! Or feed your addiction lol! I agree with you..I have too many kits also but I went ahead and ordered the Tiger I / borgward kits for about $30 each! As for tools... well as a rigger in the film biz it's approaching about $20000 worth so I am ok with a healthy model stash!
