Anybody have a photo of one of these in tow configuration? I am building an M-1943 76mm in tow mode. All the photos I've found are in firing positions or are too dark/ wrong angle to see details. I am most interested in how were the trails secured. The kit does not show any sort of latch. Each trail has a "tow ring" that overlaps the other. Was the tow hook through the ring the only thing securing them?

Spasiba. Limber info was great, but I need info on the actual gun carriage. I found a photo of one in a Finnish museum. There does not appear to be any sort of latch system at all to hold the trails closed during transport, except the tow hook through the tow eye. But I tend to be suspect of museum pieces. One never knows how accurately
they are restored.

Sorry, misunderstood your question. As for carriage, there is device keeping trails closed. Check these photos

Example of the same device at 45mm AT gun carriage
https://www.dishmodels.ru/wshowp.htm?p=3275&id=201670 (full walkaround https://www.dishmodels.ru/wshow.htm?p=3275&lng=E )

Note that this type of device is the later type. For 45mm AT gun there is earlier type

Ah! Now I see. The locking pin on the spades hold it together. I thought the over lapping eyes at the end of the trails connected directly to the limber or tow vehicle. I did not know that there was the extension that was pinned into those eyes. I'll have to see if I can fabricate something. Again Dmitry, spasiba.
