This is probably a play for Miniart's interior kit market in Russia rather than an attempt to compete with Asian companies. That is if we go with the "home market " is the largest market concern for model companies theory.

They are Russian companies competing for the same market, even I am not sure how an Interior KT is supposed to be a play for the market fir Miniart Russian tanks.

Got to think marketing and target audiences and not so literally.

Miniart is creating a market for tanks with interiors so ICM is going for that Russian market for model tanks with interiors, not necessarily Russian tanks.

Or ICM could be going back to its roots because the first tank kits they did had partial interiors and were Russian and are still available in Eastern Europe.

Both from Ukraine. Big difference these days.

Way too political for these discussions. Will it be offered with a transparent hull, I wonder. Detail looks okay.

AFV offered a T34 a few years back that had a transparent upper and turret so it is possible and solves that whole "now how do I display the interior"? thing.

Forgive me. I was referring more to market base than specific ethnic background. Being descended from Russians forcibly resettled in Poland by the tsars to "russianize" it, I understand. The political borders over the years have been ambiguous in regard to the actual people living there so I used "Russian " as a general term for the various groups of the area.

Considering the price-point with their other kits this one should be an easay addition to the stash.
