I think the biggest problem with this section of the Forum is that it was a misguided idea from the start. Let me explain - when I was a "junior modeller" myself (back in prehistoric times! ), me and my friends bought "adult" modelling magazines and compared our efforts against the highest standards we saw on the pages. We didn't make any allowances for our age and saw any efforts to do so as condescending.
All the best
Perhaps, it should be labelled as "beginner" modelers?
My 2 cents:
My guess/assumption is that also the "beginners" will benefit from "hanging out" in the forums for the more "advanced" or experienced modellers. A question asked here, in the Junior or Beginners or whatever name this "waiting room" gets, runs the risk of not getting an answer at all, if the poster is lucky there is an answer from another junior or beginner.
Post and ask questions in the other forums instead. If the question contains a hint that the poster is a beginner then the answer can be "tailored" to that fact.
Mingling with the "experts" could be a steep learning curve but there is a lot to be learned.
This discussion has brought some life into this
more than it has had the last seven (7) years.
The last post in 2016 was a test post and a reply. In late 2010 there was one "real" post with one reply .....
That makes four "items" during the last eight years, and this thread has generated 6 items already.
Maybe the "body" isn't dead but it certainly isn't kicking much either ...
