MK35 has announced two new figures depicting the two Afrika Korps infantry carrying flour bags. I like what is offered here as the Afrika Korps does not get the attention of other German conflict zones.

Thank goodness they're not in the traditional DAK "standing and pointing" poses...

You mean that the DAK actuallyMOVED ...?!!! Whaaaat?!! @#$%!! I thought they just stood and pointed for the entire campaign...

Hunh... Learn something new every day.

Indeed, these are great poses and I'd be happy to see some Vietnam-era REMFs or Grunts in similar poses (unloading ammo or supplies from a Huey, truck, M548, etc.)

Hope that all is well, Jim!

With Regards and Aloha,

Johnny B.

The only thing I have observed is that the painted figures would be new troops rather than veterans, Why you ask? Look at the figures in the period photographs and you will not that there skin is really heavily tanned.

That can be easily remedied with a bottle of Spray Tan.😎 And Put those new troops to work ... mach schnell! 👉

Note: Looks like the artist avoided using matte varnish on the skin tones. These troops look to be hot and sweaty from the desert heat.☀️

Kidding aside: I wonder if the sacks are molded as separate parts — it looks to be so. This could be useful if a modeler wished to switch them out for say, ammo boxes, or an MG., etc.

Nice additions to the DAK!

Cheers!🍺

These are great! No pointing, binocs, etc, only large bags of dirty laundry on wash night. Gotta get!
