Jason, the model looks great! Curious what specific direction you received from Michael Mass. I feel pretty confident about IDF colors for current vehicles, but I struggle with the colors for the 1967 through 1973 Shot tanks, and the early vintage Merkavas. Since I’m soon to get the Merkava I model (non-hybrid) myself, I’m really curious about the color that Michael suggested.

I posted the brown-er one on FB and he commented it should be lighter and with a yellowish tint. He posted a close up of a Merkava one showing a different color than Ammo-s Sanai grey. I'll see if I can find the post.

Thanks, Jason. I have a bunch of IDF books, many with color pictures (the new Desert Eagle Merkava I, in particular) but nothing like getting help from a guy who has personally seen these vehicles with his own eyes! Most of us know how difficult it is to come up with the unusual hue of IDF tanks.

No, I also have Ammo's real and also faded Sanai grey 73, so I lightly repainted with that. The original dark brown ended up as a preshade.
