HI all !

I've been looking for a slightly different project to my usual builds and wondered
Is there such a kit (1/35) as the Israeli tiran 5 with blazer armour

Short answer: no. And you can't readily adapt any of the after-market Blazer sets such as Legend's to fit.

I'm not aware of any after-market sets for the Tiran. Sounds like a job opportunity for one of the after-market companies. We can always hope that Takom or MiniArt (preferably) turn their attention to a Tiran 5 following their Tiran 4's and include a Blazer option (are you listening, MiniArt?).

I have seen photos of where people had done such a conversion and would love to see one too.But for the life of me I can not remember where I seen this done but it was the old Tamiya T-55.

Hi;

Now; If your so inclined, you could find the old AMT/Irtl kit of the M-60 Blazer kit and use the Blazer armor as they are pretty close with what the pic's show. I have the kit in my stash and they look the same.

CHEERS; MIKE.

Thanks k you every one that replied

There some useful info there

Then plan is to use the hoobins 1/16 t55 rc kit as a starting point I know most of the conversion will be scratch built
But that what I do

I think part of the conversion may be available on Shapeways, or you could have the 1/35 plans scaled up and have it printed by them. Unless you already have the Hooben kit I can not recommend it. It is a poor Tamiya copy with a metal barrel, not worth the expense unless you just have to have a T-55 in that scale. Please post pictures of your build and good luck!
