Gabriel,

On a side note- sometimes I cannot see the pictures you post.
Like in your last post.I only get a blank field with small grey sign in the middle...
Pitty for me as I like your build!

The image links go to some Google site, very long image links:
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/gZMxOzQQ286hQc4gxOjXPxqiMbpZGopoS3uvFEHQjeEkgflpMnj7FYg-Uy4J016lQV-4Dr7WTNWH0SsXkOTdVuybBp0JR6FnaEoasXLTvHRg9RFE1N8fOmgfxnMZFQ0M4mbKjsakmDAbxqaZCLGxwDIO6Zw6u8QGYuJtgzn3Cu6esTUi5Iis9Ui9g2S3wTLw4fCWJRgMWqiPbUb_fxrM2-63iCT6bKdX6HTpbSdbXTmk15Q_Lp2ioiZ-5mcKL1GwDdBcUV8iQWX31L9TWcD0BqMMjhEeu518qZAFTgQoo_MfaqweCkquYRJqkONXhj0Ly1MmaokUqhsJjfZuOXUJR71SgV0AhM-JtTFExH9ROyY8EQYs9C6w1pIMWJGMp0AkHVQDCfsPoqbgGm7yTLGt4PaKl52vQxUqKXJO901yPEqnGM9ciSmIvS2-t-vaaAYXctPwdwfUJjjYDkPjpbxL9RK4CYCl8C0d84bpAf0pJLxqwt9VM8WrQKinSroIn1ZNjU77JIDji0cPMIBY6zsHnAeJ58U000wAOoscpWXvgN355fY6y80racjr26ZtHOW33pc4QQOzYyE63iPj23336rvp_01Q0gQgp8WgKjg=w1280-h720-no
Either the links are incorrect, or Google has scrambled them, or the images are in a library/album which isn't shared with the whole world. When I tried the link in a new browser tab I got the traffic sign for 'No Entry'

Excellent work in this campaign. I'm so tempted to enlist.

Angel and Robin, please check if the pictures are visible now. Thank you for head up!

KoSprueOne, you cannot miss the fun!

UPDATE
Added and painted some more details. I chose to tweak a little the colors, because I don't want the build to become a "black hole":

Decals applied. I was afraid about the HB quality but everything went smooth safe the decal on the turret roof which tore but I patch it quite good:

Testing the washes and dry-brushing on easy to redo parts (ask me why! )

Cheers!

First question:
The pictures posted today are visible, the ones in the earlier post still show up as the 'forbidden entry' sign.

Second question:
Why

I have most the painting and weathering done now. I still have to paint the figure and mount him holding the other half of the mess top open. I might make this car more dusty.

Excellent job there, Tim! If would be me, I would add some reddish pastel "dust". But your model is a winner "as is"!

Robin, Panzergrau purple hue (beautiful and inaccurate how it is) it's very temperamental under washes and will gladly "steer" to blue, pink or just plain gray... I experienced that in some 30% of my buildings but I'm getting tantalizingly closer...

UPDATE
Not much happened on my work bench because I had to watch the washes dry... slowly... slowly...

Cheers!

Hi, guys!

UPDATE

Another couple of (small) steps:

Last details added to the upper body:

Some dry-brushing over raised detail and a quick coat of satin:

I still have the axles covers to add at the bottom, and the construction will be finished. I'm thinking to scratch one of those branch bundles for front shield - I haven't decided yet.

Cheers!

Really nice Tim. The weathering effect looks great. The figure will actually be using the mesh screen to keep his balance as the screens had a fitting inside to stop them tipping over.

Seigfried hey. So are you going to do another armoured car called "Shtarker"?

Gabriel, it is coming along nicely.

So many guys nearly done with construction and I have not started! Have to many other builds to finish first.

Sorry to tell you that I already started on another build. I am having a figure painting block, so I cracked open Tamiya reboxing of ICM's AMD 35 Panhard. This will actually work for this group built too.

Tim, that is funny!
If I'm going to receive the kit in time, I'll to the same Tamiya re-box as my next build. Probably I'm going to make a separate build blog on it, but it will be part of the campaign as well. Do you intend to do the German or French markings?

Cheers!

I am using the French markings. I have way too many German tanks now, so this will be my first French one.
I found a cool tri-color paint scheme on tank encyclopedia. It is the second one down - the light green and red with the black outlines:

Hi, guys!

Anthony, it looks good already!

UPDATE / last

The Lady in Gray got new shoes:

Then she's got some washes and chips and dust (finished model):

The last three pictures are for size and Panzergrau hues comparison:

Tim, my AMD it's on the way! I'm still pondering whether it's going to be Panzergrau or French khaki...

Cheers!

Gabriel,

Very nice finish. Never knew this type of armor vehicle existed until now.

That must have been a pain to get right. Glad it was you not me.

Gabriel, a great finish. Subtle weathering. Glad you joined in. I really enjoyed watching this one come together.

Hi, Mark. Thank you! It was a rare vehicle (only 54 ever produced) and employed mostly with the police forces, behind the lines. I was surprised though to find a good amount of wartime pictures with it. On the other hand, Hobby Boss is the first mainstream manufacturer to release it (AMG had one before, but way to expensive) so we can say it's "new" on 1/35 scale.

Peter, you are kind, sir! Thank you. I'm not done yet with this campaign - I have a ICM/Tamiya AMD lined up! I really enjoy building armored cars and soft-skins (more than tanks I dare say!)

Cheers!

The eight wheeler thing, the BTR-40, the 222.... all looking BOSS!

Clayton, is a "what-if" subject still ok? I'm thinking of jumping in with the Trumpeter, JGSDF NBC Detection Vehicle with "Riot Control" added features. I just picked up the Osprey Pub. "Riot Control Vehicles: and it gave me ideas.

Hello,

Time to join the fun. I initially planned for the M8 Greyhound, but finally decided on this one:

The kit builds quick. Am on the wheels now. What I liked is that the hubs are separate from the tires, so that will make painting it easier than fiddling with templates. Tires as well, as they're plastic instead of rubber.

More to follow.

Cheers,

Tat
