I would like to know if the Kamaz comes with a canvas cover?
I've built the ICM Kamaz truck, which is a very nice kit and that's the only point for me to buy Trumpeters kit ...

I was wondering the same thing! I prefer the covers that come with the kits. I'm never that happy with my homemade canvas covers. (My guess is "No," there won't be a cover in the kit. Hope I'm wrong.)

Well .... the ICM boxart does NOT show any canvas and the image from Trumpeter shows canvas so there is at least some hope that canvas will be included. / Robin

I hope Trumpeter's upcoming 1/72 JS lll is NOT simply a re-pop of their previous kit which was pretty poor,to say the least.

BTW, is the French M4 the same as Israeli Super Sherman?

I've built the zvezda kit. It goes together perfectly, the tracks are done very well, and the bar armour is very fine. Plus, being Russian, zvezda has full support from Uralvagonzavod.

Can't be any worse than an Airfix JS-3.

The French Sherman looks like it's supposed to be an early Israeli M50 but the shapes in the CAD are really poor. And it looks to have the French 75mm gun but with the muzzle brake of the 105 from a M51.

If you're going that far a new Js-3 is also needed. The aging Tamiya Js-3 and Trumpeter Js-3m are the same vintage.

The Trumpeter Braille scale Js-3 is based on their 1/35 And has not aged well at all. An iffy kit of the 1990s is an awful one in the 21st Century.

If you mean the M1 Sherman, then the French M4 looks to a combination if tgat tanks hull with the M51 turret.

A new JS III would be great, and while Trumpeter is at it a modern Bergepanther in 1/35th would be also most welcome!
