Hello!
After reading some reviews (including very nice ones on this forum) about Evolution figures, I decided to make a small scene with four Special forces operators (they are sold separately).
Presenting the first one: I'm stunned by the detail, especially the bearded face, very simple and clever breakdown of the parts. Cannot wait to star painting it

Regards!

Second figure-excellent again, very clever and simplified breakdown of the parts. Armed with M24 sniper and M4A1 carbine with grenade launcher.

I'm expecting the last fourth figure soon, and as soon as I finish the Bravo-6 Sniper team will start these guys.

Thanks!

These are all fantastic figures. Be advised though, the M249 the last figure is armed with is an old model which, as far as I know, was not used at the time. Pehaps you can change it for the more advanced version.

Mario, thanks for suggestion!

Actually your reviews inspired me to buy those figures
But I cannot see how to replace the weapon, the hands are molded on it, seems very hard to do. Maybe I will buy Live Resin machine gun and try to replace it.

Regards,
Venelin

If you decide to go with the more current SAW version let me know. I think I can spare a Live Resin M249 from my stash and send it to you.

The new model SAW (thanks again Mario), looking good, only the barrel was broken (I thought initially that is short-barrel version )
I replaced it with brass tube, not bad I think. This was the best I can do to restore it

Sorry to hear the barrel was broken in transport, I obviously should have secured the resin bits more carefully. But you did a good job on restoring the SAW.

Hi,
Starting with arms glued to the body and priming with Finishing Surfacer 1500. This time I used black instead of grey and then with light coats of white Surfacer:

Happy New Year!

Andy,
I used Panzer Aces 345 Splinter base for the shorts, with VMC 70847 Dark Sand and white for highlights. Green patches are Panzer Aces 336 Afrkakorps crew mixed with 345 Splinter. Brown strips are with VMC 70826 German camo medium brown.

Greg, tatoos would be nice I will consider it

Thanks!
