Hi Tobias,
the build's looking good, apart from two omisions: the gun tube you used is of wrong profile, but I'm sure you're aware of that, also you've glued the turret lifting rings on the sides upside down.

Cheers,
Greg

I know, but the kit gun was not so good, so I used the T-28 gun from Dragon.
The Lifting rings is new to me, but I can´t Chance it know.

Nice so far Tobias, don't be afraid to turn those lifting rings around, just carefully slice them off and flip them. You can touch up the paint after. I wish they would come out with a metal replacement barrel soon, sometimes it seems that they release aftermarket parts before the kit even comes out, and then sometimes it takes years, if at all.

I think no Company will bring a metal Barrel for that kit. But I had the Dragon T-28 kit and took the Barrel from it.

I don't know Tobias, there are two companies who released kits of this tank, we might see one.

Nice build of what appears to be a killer kit.
I like the paint job , and weathering.
So what is that big piece that goes across the middle of the Turret?
Maybe I should look it up hey? LOL

Nice job.
Putting it on a base?

It's a rangefinder. There are doors for the lenses on the front side at the ends.

Great build. Too bad about the lift hooks, but it does not take away from an overall great build.

Thanks for sharing

Great job! I love the muddy footprints on top!!! I can't believe that there arn't any comparison builds between the Takom kit and the Hobbyboss kit yet!

They don't make one yet but the family of vehicles (T-29/30/34) are about 90% the same so a comeparison between the Hobbyboss T29E1 and Takom kits shouldn't be that hard. Some of the criticism that I've read about the Takom kit is that the wheel spacing is too close together and that the front slop around the drivers' hatches is wrong. If the wheels are too close together does that mean that the hull is too short? Other than that it sound like a really nice kit. The Hobbyboss kit sounds like it has the road wheel spacing correct and has better tracks, but has an oversized turret and the detail isn't that good. Does that mean that kit bashing is needed? I've been waiting for build reviews and comparisons between the two before I make my choice, but there hasn't been any yet.
