I see that SWAT guy joining my stash once available. I would like to know who / what they based their research on...

And, I may just use that pistol on a certain SEAL I have underway.

Well, this is a HUGE improvement over the original drawing which showed an outdated MP5.

Is the figure already designed and cast? I agree with Kylie in wondering where they got their research as I for one would have the Picatinny Rail Interface System on the M4's top and barrel sides as most U.S. S.W.A.T. use the rails for their M4s, just like the military (or one can use Live-Resin's or Airborne Miniature's 1/16 M4 RIS).

Apart from the weapon as mentioned above...the whole figure clashes, the plate carrier/ LBV is well outdated, LAPD golden oldie! MICH helmet being the only modern bit of kit.

Affirm that, some golden oldie throwback, with a mix of features... definitely not "LAPD 2017", or anything similar... I'm still excited to see this released as it makes for a break from soldiers, soldiers, soldiers; and hopefully the first in a line of SWAT figures. Who knows, we may even see hazmat, riot police, K9 unit, other country's equivalent units. Who knows.

Still plenty of towns whose SWAT looks like that. He is even a bit too new for some of the big cities in New Jersey.

Not being funny here, are they in black, blue, or green uniforms? I'd be keen to model one. Or two. Maybe a breacher.

City agencies wear blue or black, county agencies, green.

Historically speaking, city cops wear blue regular duty uniforms, county sheriffs and/or police departments wear brown. Some county agencies have green as well, think LASO duty trousers.

State agencies are a toss up. Look to see what color the officers regular uniforms are.

Reno, Sparks, Washoe County and Carson City (Nevada) SWATs use a mix. I've seen OD, Tan, Multicam. In some incidents I've seen officers in polo shirts and black or blue BDU trousers With vests etc over that.
