Excellent model. Weathering and distressed paint, shiny missiles - great work. SA-6 - scourge of the Israeli Air Force 1973.

It's a very nice kit, to which Vorya has done great justice.

I just wish Trumpeter would fix their too-long and too-skinny missiles.

Believe SP Designs has some replacement missiles. If they are like all their other products, will be first-rate quality at a very good price.

Building on the box, it's clear. But I do not see you for taking the time to the abrasion and dirt, why not cleaned casting off the lines? Why not take the literature by and looked at a real vehicle, missile? We have never had such painting 3M9M rocket. Iran has the system being used. I understand that this is fashion, dirt and wear. But the modeling fidelity think the essence of life. It is mounting on the back of the vehicle completely evil position. Unfortunately, the only painting which is relatively leaves, but the model is terrible lousy. Unfortunately, I can not applaud.

Thanks for comments but i think you didn't carefully study about 3M9M rocket we have such paints here some photos

Modeling for me is all about enjoyment and i enjoy this project alot but sorry you don't like it , but if you want build any AA system which basically works in ground are not well worn or dirty the crew keep them clean because has very sensitive equipment and should work really precise. thanks for your comment again.

Rule 1 of modeling: Build what you like the way you like.*

Rule 2 of modeling: In case of doubt, read rule 1.

Love it, Varya!

Vorya great build and finish! I especially like the contrast between the worn look of the vehicle and the newer finish of the rockets.

The Chinese-made put your pictures (SA-2) HQ-2 air defense missile technology truck and SA-6 Gainful 2P25M2 SPU air defense missile system launcher carrying vehicles can be seen on the three pieces of 3M9M3 (E) missile.
The war deployed SA-6 system in the early export variants Indeed, 2P25 SPU transport launcher vehicle (when you look at the photo cover you one pair of discrepancies. Grips the sheet-long rod and struck branches of shifting the rear) and special desert-ready white-painted 3M9ME, which received Radom gray nose tips (white 3M9M3 later).
