Hard to say,are you using Magic Tracks,workables,Fruils,or what ?

If you still have the rubber band tracks,count them,if your doing Fruils go higher,you can always pull a couple,if your gluing Magic Tracks together,go a few less,you can always add a couple.

Don't forget,how tight you glue your tracks together can make a difference,also you can adjust the idler.Depends how much sag you use.So there are a lot of factors.Just a starting point might be 90-92

No matter what the tracks are brand wise always leave the idler loose until the length of the tracks go together.

Just the information I needed. I'm using a set of Spade Ace links(SAT-35006) and they are going on a handsome paper-panzer rendition of a Flak Panther Coelian by Mr. Hobby.
This is a first time experience with metal link sets and so far, so good. The set has plenty of links to do the job and found only 2 that were not save-able for use. No flash on edges, very thin, if any flash in track horns, and only one link that had a bad plug in a pin hole. About 6 pieces had some upward bend one end that was an easy fix.
