hi,

coming up is a Tiran-5 with Dozer blade

kits used:
A.E.F. Designs T-55A kit KC-18 - (morbid kit) almost impossible

Verlinden 1/35 Dozer Kit Conversion for Russian T-55 Tank, kit#1957 - for use on IDF T. tanks series (T55/TIRAN)

Tiran details by Skif, Blast and Trumpeter (all are left-over parts from a friend)

Barrel by DiVision Miniature 1/35 IDF Tiran 5 Conversion set with some extra details in the set

Tracks by Trumpeter - 1/35 02035 Russian tank 1946-580mm

Interior by Eduard 1/35 T-55A interior For SKIF Kit#35476

Wheels by an after market vendor, whom name I am not sure of

and surely lots and lots of scratched parts and components

the model is intended to have all hatches open, therefore, some interior was also done to mimic the bare minimum
"you know; something to meet the eyes"

enjoy

Wow. Just wow. You're a very determined man, and you are getting amazing results from such a weak base kit. You also work very fast, indeed.

I only had good results with one AEF kit, an M4 Sherman conversion. I later bought several Russian subjects (all at once) and gave up on them in despair.

Outstanding work on "Frankie"!
A link with plenty of close-ups of SLA "Tiran" captured by Hezbollah.

Gerald; ReluctantRenegade, I am glad you like the model

it is all in the little details that hide the base kit that make it worthwhile

lets see what the end result will be on this one

I will post some images after priming it and painting it
thanks for the web post, my next project is an SLA Tiran based APC

cheers friends
