Thanks Mike, much appreciated! Meanwhile I've opened a new IDF thread, hopefully it will last at least as long as the old one...

Man photobucket sucks

Tell me about it...you have no idea how much time I spent uploading those pictures. Nevertheless, I'll start a new one after I find a new picture hosting site.

I hear ya brother. I know it's a lot of work as I did similar when I had done couple online builds. It does take a lot f personal time to orginiaze for a photo thread. And, then continue to support it reguraly. So, as a viewer of your work...I want to say I appreciate all you did and continue to do for our hobby

Any idea how can I make the pictures that have been posted already work?
I'm definitely switching to a more user friendly solution from now on...

You need to add this att the end of the picture url

~original

So you need to edit all the post with that ~original text. If you can´t anymore edit, then you need to copy the url´s in a new post.

I'm laughing hard. Not at you but at was seems to be a hopeless situation which has hit everyone here. Your guess is as good as anyone's. But it seems to begin with dumping photobucket.

ELTA's M-2310 artillery radar mounted on M548 chassis. This application served in the IDF from 1982 till around 2000.

From the fume extractor it looks like an M68/L7. There have been low-recoil derivatives of this around for a while. GD put one on an ASCOD as a demo and the Stryker MGS carries one.

BAES Hagglunds have put a 120mm on a CV90. It's a Swiss derivative of the Rheinmetall gun adapated for lower recoil. No-one has bought it yet. It's been over to the UK for unmanned firing demonstration and it is still possible that the UK might go down a similar road for a lighter tank. In FRES days it was projected that the Scout family would have a big brother on a stretched hull with a 120mm gun, possibly firing guided munitions. The return of the medium tank, armed like an MBT but much less well protected. Perhaps more of a tank destroyer than a tank.

WOW is that a 120mm gun on a light tank?

Unfortunately the book doesn't say anything about the armament. Could be an L7 from a Merkava II...
