Hello,

I show you my homeworks for my summer holidays.

I begining the build of Meng's Terminator.

It's a very good kit, I enjoyed works. Only the build of the tracks was hard, because I've one hand for works.

The picture.

The traks step, four hours for build it !!

the next

And with the ZvezdaBTR-80 APC, I build it before the Terminator.

Now I used the black surface primer by Mig.I used the Vallejo Air thinner (in fact their air brush cleaner)
And... blackk is black !

Yesterday evening I paint the "red cacao" (Gunze H17) And this morning I put the mask.

With the mask.

See you.

Hi

@ Mike : Thanks !

So I went to my local dealer for buy my paint, it's Prince August Air n°27 (it's the same paint that Vallejo Air 71.027).

With the map I tryed to paint the sand.

And I just realized that I reversed the superior side protection and in addition they overlap the lower ...

So I stuck all the side protections on the machine...

Picture...tomorrow !

Hi

In fact it wasn't a reversal, but a shift toward the front of the upper protection I had done ... in addition to forget the overlapping plates.

So I stuck these protections. It remains to repaint areas with Gunze H17, hide and then reuse the PA Air 027 and continue hiding to spend the last color.

pictures :

Note the overlap of protections

That's something to do for some time.

Bye

Hi !
Small update today, I put the mask on on the flanks of the gear.

I still did the top surfaces, the front and rear of the machine, but the end of leave and return to work, the updates will be rarer.

So spend a good weekend !

Hi

first weekend after the job restart and I painted the gear with Prince August Air 075.
Here the kit one this stand

and after a little job

So far, so good, but I expect some surprises.
In fact I had trouble managing the viscosity of the paint ... with even very high temperatures, not enough thinner it becomes clogged, too thinner, well it's fleet ... The border between too much and not enough is thin!

Well it's confirmed!
I also painted the "wheels" ...

I should paint this aera :

A new session with mask Tamiya

And Humbrol maskol...

I try this making product. Funny...

Despite these hickeys, this decoration suits him very well.

Cheer

Hello

Es, finally, return reasonable temperatures Aix in Provence, which motivated me to do covers of paint.

I took out the Tamiya tape and action!!

I unmasks, whew ! it's good!

So... here or there one that is either big as I thought big is not!

I have succeeded in assemble the tracks and put them in place,
Next steps
varnish shot,
dirty the underbody, chassis and caterpillars.
Painted in blue the periscopes and glue it.
all stick and all dirty !

Bye

That looks awesome, Gaël. I'm going to do an Arctic variant of that pattern on the Panda 2S6M Tunguska!

Very nicely done!

Nice job!
Masking Russian modern tanks can be hard due to the many uneven surfaces, nuts, bolts and so on...
A project I have to face at some moment, I'll keep your post at hand.

Hi

I use tamiya tape, and the camo was a what'if or an expo camo.
So I rest ine the idea, but I use that I'd over the hand.

For the large place I used the Maskol by Humbrol, I don't know if Humbrol export this product in south america.

Bye
