Here's today's M21 update: I received a small package from Poland last week: RB Models (35B13) Browning M2 .50 cal. (2 pack). Unfortunately, I fed the rear sight to the Carpet Monster! ⏱ So when the 15-minute rule kicked-in, I quickly faked a replacement with a piece of scrap PE. In addition, the PE carry handle seemed too flat, so I slapped-on a little Tamiya White Putty — a trick I read somewhere.

By 'eye-level views' do you mean birds-eye level or 'in the cockpit'?

I was referring to the ground level view, as a human would see the vehicle upon approaching it — always like that angle whenever included with finished builds. Right now, you've got what I like to call the Jabo eye-view. Haha!

Really shaping up, Mike!

Not sure unnecesary is the right word there Mike. That extra detail really adds to the build. A lot more 3D now than the kit parts.

I think the windscreen needs cleaning though

Got a bit done this weekend. Too humid to paint, even with a moisture trap on the compressor. That is what you get in summer here in Queensland.

Anyway an update:
Added some stowage to test fit. Where the crew sits in the turret is a tight fit and I doubt they had anything on the hull that they would catch arms or legs on, so I concentrated on the rear, and only what would be seen when the turret was in place.



The hull top with second visor fitted and the 'not included in instractions' tarp ring fitted.



And the retaining clips added to the stowage boxes



Wiring to the radio set. Basically the power feed from the transformer and the aerial cable. Not sure if I will add the headset and cable yet.

I know! Lol! … I was suffering from claustrophobia, even with that HUGE moonroof! 😅

I think I’m finally done fiddling around with the micro details. So, my next update might be brought to you courtesy of Earl Scheib's Paint Shop. I've been considering adding more figures for a diorama setting, but that’s further down the road. In the meantime, I'll be researching those, building this-n-that, and I’ll be watching here.

Hi Guys

I am going to have to put the build on hold. Went to spray some paint and realised my airbrush is missing the needle chucking nut. Must have dropped it last time I cleaned the brush without realising it ... 12 months ago.... at a different house...

Anyway, I will have to order a spare and until that comes in, I'm on hold. Hopefully the part (for an Iwata) will come in before the campaign finishes

Well, you have until June 30, so I reckon even a slow boat can reach you by then

Hi Guys, WIP update, Santa dropped off a new airbrush for Christmas so I am going to try some, I guess it's called pre shading with black the white in the middle of the panels. Seen it on you-tube, will see how it turns out
