Ready to finish the Roden M37, but was hoping to find an alternative set of tires to replace the vinyl ones in the kit. The DEF site doesn't list anything similar. Any ideas?

I've been looking and haven't found anything yet.

I see that Miniman Factory makes a 3/4 ton M101 trailer in resin, with the type of tire that is exactly what I'm looking for. I have emailed them, asking if they can sell just the tires/rims separate from the trailer kit. Waiting for a response.

Heck, the trailed would be a great compliment to the truck as well! A little pricy though.

Jason, I heard from Gabor at MMF, saying he is on vacation/holiday but "of course I can supply the wheels for you" after 17 July. Still waiting for the price tho. If you're interested in obtaining replacement wheels/tires for the Roden kit, you might drop MMF a line.

I got the DEF Models set about a month ago and they are good to go. I was watching the Sprue Brothers site every day after DEF announced that they were going to release the kit until SB posted that it was a new arrival. As soon as I saw that, I ordered a set.

Cheers,
James

I second the above. I got the Def M37 wheel set as well. They are very nice.

The resin wheels look much better and are more detailed. Also, the tread pattern is more crisp and the sidewalls are more flat and less rounded than the rubber ones in the kit.

Here are some pics to compare them.
