Alex,
A very interesting scheme on your Marder. Is it Bundeswehr or a other country?

Martin,
I notice all of the open hatches. Do you have crew members to fill them?

Yes it is a vehicle used by Budeswehr. By the way I have no pictures of Marder used by other armies.

Ok, finally getting some pics uploaded. Early progress on the build plus PE parts. Will have another update this weekend.

Chris,
I'm glad to see some of your work posted! Love the Friuls and the texturizing of the gun mantlet's rear piece...whatever it's called.

Though I'm through and through a panzer-lover, I'd still like to see more Red Steel in this campaign.

Chris very nice PE and wire details, they look complicated to build.

All quiet on the East... at least around my modelling desk. Yesterday I was happy to shoot some pics of the almost-ready-to-paint stage Jagdpanzer IV. Some minor parts will be glued in place and I hope it will be primed this weekend to continue with painting in March.
Cheers,
Zsolt

Daniel,
Thank you for submitting your Marder II to the campaign. It was one of my earliest models back in the late 70's. I wonder if it's been retooled or improved since then.

...back in those days what I really wanted was a Marder IIIM.

Zsolt,
All of the pre-painted detail make for some interesting study. Looking forward to seeing how she looks in three-tone camo.

Thanks Gary and Alex. I learned a lot about tiny soldering through an old Wilder video where he did a T-34/85. Liquid flux and a good quality soldering iron with a tiny tip was the key for me.

Martin,
I like the heavy localization of the brun and grun. Looking forward to see how weathering blends it all together.

New pics and end of my built !

I used both Revell and Bison Decals.

Deutsch flags from Revell were improved with white arabic text from Bison Decal (arabic text is in black color on Revell flags)

Circular ISAF markings in a ring are from Bison decals too. I've prefered them because a bit bigger than the ones from Revell.

So I call it done.

Thank you Gaz, it was a interesting campaign built with very different models.

Alvaro,
Interesting results with your use of putty and Styrofoam. Speaking from personal experience, I would say that military canvas is very thick and heavy. It would be very difficult to see an ammo crate, or a helmet.

Phil,
Welcome to the campaign! That's a very interesting idea. I'd be keen to see it realised.
